This is a breath test.
Examination duration 120 – 160 min.
Instructions for patients:
24 hours before the test do not eat: dairy products (including colostrum), chocolate and sweets, fruits and vegetables, legumes, bread and pastries, do not drink alcohol, sweetened drinks, milk drinks. Recommended to consume: chicken and turkey meat, fish, rice, eggs, water
12 hours before the test do not eat, drink only water, do not smoke, do not chew
On the day of examination do not take any vitamins, antibiotics, chemotherapy drugs or antifungals and laxatives, regular medication may be taken and washed down with water, drink 200ml of warm water.
The examination can be performed 4 weeks after completion of antibiotic treatment, 4 weeks after colonoscopy, laxatives must be discontinued 3 days before the examination.
We do not perform the examination on diabetics, pregnant and breastfeeding women, preschool children only after prior consultation with a doctor at our clinic.
